I really like that they list it per month and I am thinking that if I can get motivated that these could be printed to make a cute bookmark! :) Let me know if you have trouble finding the link and I could just email it to you.

  2. Bree, I was a few days behind, so I went ahead and jumped in on the right day, 2 days down! If you get behind it can be a TREMENDOUS snowball and very defeating, so keep up as you can :). I have been wanting do do a marathon for World Vision since last year, so I think I want to go that route. Do you guys want to do that, or did you have something else in mind?? Re-reading that is funny, I tell you that I'm dying to do it for WV and then ask if you have any other thoughts :). Well, you know what I mean.
Today's reading was awesome and I was struck by the fact that Lot and Abraham both were so hospitable to the messengers of God. They both insisted that they be able to provide a shelter (even Lot's own home) and extravagant food for these strangers, simply because they had been sent by God. That convicts me to evaluate how I treat those sent by God. Do I offer them access to everything that i have to the point of insisting, or am I passive, stand-offish and unaffected? Who would those people look like today? Missionaries?? Any thoughts?

  3. Ok, I think we are in for the Marathon...well atleast me. Kyle seems less than enthused. I think raising money for a cause is a fantastic idea, how about our adoption. hehehe! Where is the training schedule?
